Dear Friends,
 
Consciousness is everywhere and it is no privilege of human brains.   
 
Referring to the One Spirit of Life in our solar system,  an Adept writes in the “Mahatma Letters”: 
 
“Take Darwin’s genealogical tree of life  of the human  race and others, and bearing ever in mind the wise old adage, “As below so above” – that is, the universal system of correspondences – try to understand by analogy.  Thus will you see that in this day on  this present earth  in every  minearl  etc. there is such a spirit.  Every grain of sand, every boulder or crag of granite, IS that spirit cristallized or petrified. (1)
 
Of course, in plants the universal Spirit and intelligence is much more complex and dynamic than in stones or granite.  Yet no piece of rock is devoid of consciousness.
 
Consciousness is not limited to human brains, and only narrow, naive  minds could perhaps believe such an illusion.
