Dear Friends, 

"The Key to Theosophy"  is one of the texts in which HPB links the 
future of civilization to the work of the theosophical movement.  

She writes in the final paragraph of that book: 

"Tell me if I am too sanguine when I say that if the Theosophical 
Society survives and lives true to its mission, to its original 
impulses through the next hundred years – tell me, I say, if I go 
too  far in asserting that earth will be a heaven in the twenty-
first century in comparison  with what it is now!" (1) 

The next paragraphs of the story of mankind may be most  
interesting, at least  for present generations. 

The  21st century is a page to be written. It will not be written 
with words.  It must  be written with actions, and especially by 
people who have goodwill with regard to the future of mankind, and 
by the thousands or millions of people who feel co-responsible for 
its transition to a better situation.
