under direction of Master

It's simple, and I've told you several times already. The link with the Master, for any disciple, in in the heart, that is, in the sixth principle, Buddhi.
Hence authority comes from the heart.
For an aspirant to discipleship, authority also comes from the heart, because it is there that the link with one's higher self occurs.
The contact between HPB and her Master was in, and through, her sixth principle, or heart. OK?
Till next repetition,
