That evolving monads have left it. See additional transaction of 
Blavatsky lodge which was published as a supplement to Aquarian 
Theosophist sept 2001, it I remember correctly. The pupils tried to 
find out what obscuration is, but replies of HPB were not always full.

There are 2 terms, obscuration & pralaya, they are often treated as 
the synonymes, yet maybe it is not so, as pralaya seems to be a 
complete dissolution while obscuration involves preservation of a 
physical globe.
