There is truth and altruism in what you said below, as far as I see it. 

The planet, the air we breathe and the universal wisdom ultimately have no private owners.

Every physical citizen is only a passing guest in the planet,   and a passing student of the divine wisdom, in his lower self, at least.    At the same time,  as you say, we have a social structure which works with the idea of private property, etc.

I wanted to make this point: disciples and Masters are able to share ideas, feelings, quotations, sentences and authorship of books. This complicates a little bit the discussion on editorial policies.

But still,  tampering is tampering. Disciples, lay disciples, aspirants to lay discipleship and honest or experienced Editors can "share ideas" while having respect for original texts  and authors.
