Dear Friends,
John Yarker, HPB?s friend and the influential Grand Master of various masonic Rites, wrote critically about the situation which Masonry was facing already in his own time.
In one of her articles, HPB quoted his words:
?As the Masonic fraternity is now governed, the Craft is fast becoming the paradise of the ?bon vivant?...... the manufacturer of paltry masonic tinsel.... and the masonic ?Emperor? and other charlatans who make power or money out of the aristocratic pretensions which they have tacked on to our institutions ? ad captandum vulgus ......? (1)
John Yarker?s words.
Best regards, Carlos.
