"Can you go beyond the dead letter?"

Carlos,
You write to me:
=====================================================
Words cannot convey a meaning to one who is not prepared for them, or
to one who does not want to understand the meaning.
Putting things before people when they are not prepared to understand
them, and not even committed to seriously try to understand them, is
not necessarily stimulating an expansion of consciousness.
Superficial curiosity will not do.
......................
What the esoteric tradition aims at -- and it has done so for many
thousands of years -- is to keep things to people who can understand
them, who will try hard to understand and to live them, and this,
together with a method for understanding these things in their hearts.
In what sense you have ever read HPB, or her "Esoteric Papers" -- if
you did not understand even this most basic of principles for the
Esoteric Philosophy?
Can you go beyond the dead letter?
===========================================================
Whether I can go beyond the dead letter or not is not really the
issue here. First of all, I doubt that anyone on Theos-Talk (other
than you?) really cares! :)
If you can go or think you can go beyond the dead letter, that is
fine and you are to be congratulated for so doing....
OBTW, do you approve of Boris de Zirkoff reprinting the ES
Instructions in Volume 12 of THE COLLECTED WRITINGS.
Or was he ALSO guilty of:
"Putting things before people when they are not prepared to
understand them, and not even committed to seriously try to
understand them, is not necessarily stimulating an expansion of
consciousness." ?????
Remember ANYONE can buy Volume 12 of the CW on the world wide web
like at Amazon.com. That is, anyone who has the money to buy the
volume....
I published THE ESOTERIC PAPERS OF MADAME BLAVATSKY because I was
fortunate enough to have access to (1) MORE COMPLETE editions of some
of HPB's ES Instructions than BdZ apparently had; (2) I also had a
complete transcription of HPB's INNER GROUP TEACHINGS which
apparently BdZ did not have; (3) I had access to miscellaneous
esoteric documents which BdZ didn't include; and (4) I included
relevant excerpts from various letters of Blavatsky in which she
mentions her work in the Esoteric Section. These letters were
scattered all over the place.
See table of contents of the book at:
http://www.blavatskyarchives.com/esopapcontents.pdf
Since I had already compiled all of this material and even sent
copies to John Cooper, Dallas TenBroeck and several other
Theosophical workers, I finally thought other students around the
world would find this material also helpful.
I even had Jerome Wheeler write me once saying he looked at/used some
of the material in my compilation.
So I had the volume published by Kessinger.
See: http://esotericpapers.net
As to the online versions of SOME of HPB's papers on my website
<http://esotericinstructions.net>, you may object to this version but
would you object to an online version of Volume 12 like the one that
Ton put up on the web just a week or two ago?
Webpages are just a different "medium" than the printed page (books)
and fortunately there is not alot of cost involved in maintaining
webpages as in publishing and maintaining a stock of unsold books.
And students in many countries of the world who don't have alot of
money can read and study the material for free...on the web.....
If you or any other reader wants to know more about why I published
this material either in the above book or on the web, please read
what I wrote some time ago at:
The Publication of HPB's Esoteric Papers
