Let the Real Facts Be Known: Part 2

It was in the mid 1980s that I turned my attention
from the study of Mr. Leadbeater's claims and teachings
to other claims within the Theosophical Movement.

I remember that Walter Carrithers told me one day
that Mr. Judge had claimed to be in contact with H.P.Blavatsky
after she died.

This got my interest peeked and I started researching
this subject by first collecting all the material I could
find which at that time didn't seem like much.

Also at this time I took a closer look at the chapters
in the 2 books titled THE THEOSOPHICAL MOVEMENT dealing
with Judge's death and Mrs. Tingeley's rise as leader
of Judge's TS.

These 2 books were written by the anonymous editors
of THEOSOPHY magazine and sold by the Theosophy Company/
ULT.

As I carefully dissected all the info on the Judge/Tingley
connection in these 2 histories, I discovered some
puzzling inconsistencies, etc. Later I discovered
the OE LIBRARY CRITIC which had been edited by H.N. Stokes,
who may have been the foremost critic ever of the Leadbeater-
Besant claims/teachings.

In the pages of Stokes' magazines I found a series of articles
which clearly showed me that the information provided on
the Judge-Tingley connection in the ULT histories was clearly biased
and one-sided and could be actually considered "misinformation".

A few years ago, I published on my website these Stokes' articles
plus dozens of other important and relevant documents.

See:

William Q. Judge and Katherine A. Tingley: An Analysis of the
Controversy Surrounding W.Q. Judge's Diary Entries about "Promise"
and the Dead H.P.B. including Material on the Close Relationship
between Mr. Judge and Mrs. Tingley by H.N. Stokes

In discussing some of my observations and findings with several
Blavatsky students, it became fairly evident that just as the Adyar
theosophists had various views and claims and that all of this was
reflected in what one might call their PR campaign (as seen in their
various publications, books, Theosophical histories), the ULT
Theosophists also had their claims and views and the 2 ULT histories
were in effect part of their PR campaign.

One thing lead to another and I remember when Walter Carrithers first
spoke openly of his own research and findings concerning the ULT and
Robert Crosbie.
