Daniel's Claims & Carrithers

Daniel,
You quote Tillett and 'several sources'. Really amusing:
=====================================
Notice what Dr. Tilett wrote and confirmed:
"...I was certainly told by several sources that Crosbie
claimed to have left Pt Loma because he asserted he
was in contact with HPB and the Masters, and that
he continued to make this claim thereafter. I can
cite not source for the story, given that my notebooks
are now archived in the attic. I recall talking about
this with John...."
=======================================
Than I guess the sources are still "in the attic of Tillett" ever since.
Scientific quotation, eh?? I suggest you might visit Tillett's attic to solve the problem.
"Historians say" -- who is supposed to believe such a fanciful claim?
Who is it that heard that from Crosbie, before 1919? Did G. Tillett hear that from Crosbie? Or then what is the source?
For 'sholarly' specialists in innuendos, there is a blending of fact & fancy... That does not include Tillet as long as I know -- so far I did not see him making slanders.
Now --it is obvious that Crosbie had understood the idea of HPB and Judge.
There was no need to "talk to them" after 1895 for him to understand their idea, which was also his, even before 1895.
Finally, the tree must be evaluated by its fruit.
Regards, Carlos.
