Jake and the Dzyan Esoteric School

Jake,

In your posting at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/theos-talk/message/36448
you wrote:

Dan, if you really had Blavatsky-theosophy
at heart (which you don't.... but something
else like politics) - you wouldn't try
to make a PUBLIC issue of something that
is a PRIVATE GROUP (if it still exists.)
-----------------------------------------------

Three questions for you Jake:

(1) H.P. Blavatsky had the existence of her "private" Esoteric School
announced PUBLICLY in LUCIFER, THE THEOSOPHIST and she even wrote
about the School in THE KEY TO THEOSOPHY. She didn't make a SECRET
of the school's existence!

Why does the very existence of the ULT's Dzyan Esoteric
School have to be a big secret? ....or a taboo subject???

And yes Jake it still does exist....

(2) And OBTW have you ever thought to ask Carlos why he is
interested in talking about and discussing The Egyptian Rite. This
is another private and secret group. Why should Carlos try to make a
PUBLIC issue of something that is a PRIVATE GROUP???

(3)And when you write to me:

"if you really had Blavatsky-theosophy at heart (which you don't....
but something else like politics...."

First I'd like to say I'm so glad you know what I have at heart!
thanks.... :) But what are you trying to convey with your
phrase. "but something else like politics...." Since you
seem to know so much, tell me more!!

And finally, I am interested in DES because it is part of the
history of the Theosophical Movement and I have collected for years
material on ALL the POST-Blavatsky claims. Not just the Adyar
claims. Robert Crosbie's DES is one of those subjects.

I was interested in the claims of Leadbeater, Besant, Hargrove,
Bailey, etc. etc. to be in contact with the Masters, so when my
friend Walter Carrithers informed me about the claims of Crosbie(SEE
BELOW) I was ALSO interested in that. Why shouldn't I be?

In 2001 on Theos-Talk, I wrote Gregory Tillett as follows:

"About 15 years ago Walter A. Carrithers, Jr.
told me that the DES 'officials' (Robert Crosbie,
John Garrigues, Grace Clough and others) claimed
to be in contact and communication with HPB,
WQJ and the Masters. I believe that in a phone
conversation later with John Cooper he also
told me that this was his understanding of
the claims of the above named individuals."

"Gregory, can you confirm these observations and
are there any extant papers that verify what
Walter and John believed was true?"

Dr. Tillett replied as follows:

"I do not recall the discussions you mention, although
I was certainly told by several sources that Crosbie
claimed to have left Pt Loma because he asserted he
was in contact with HPB and the Masters, and that
he continued to make this claim thereafter. I can
cite not source for the story, given that my notebooks
are now archived in the attic. I recall talking about
this with John, but I do not now recall whether he
mentioned any supporting evidence."
