Thus far I have observed very astute academic debate coming from you
in which anything and everything coming from another party is pulled
apart and used against them regardless of the overall context of
their letter. Anyone who has been in debate courses, debate
clubs, and academic circles recognizes those tactics and also
recognizes that those tactics are utilized to win by making points
and generally have nothing to do with establishing truth.

In reply to the above, I wrote as follows in a previous posting:

I simply take one point at a time and I give my views, giving what I
deem is relevant material, evidence, etc. If this leads to
something other than the truth, then I certainly would like to see
how this occurs.

I did this with Paul Johnson's book on the Masters....one point at a
time. See a detailed example at:

http://blavatsky.net/gen/refute/caldwell/johnson4.htm

I made my point...I don't know if I established the truth.... but I
think I did show the reader that what Paul Johnson wrote in this
particular instance should be taken with many grains of salt....And
I did other points too.

So: Is this an Example of my Tactics????

Was this "very astute academic debate"?

I believe Paul Johnson subsequently conceded that what I said made
good sense and he backed off from his original statement about
Mohini's Alleged "Deception".
