Now compare that with the webpage I have created at:

In column 1 (in gray) are the quotes from Julia's article. I just 
typed them on my webpage directly from her article in THE PATH.

In column 2 (in light tan) is part of my above post and the quotes
from HPB's KEY.

I have put in red HPB's actual words.
The first text (quote) from Julia is in green and the second text 
(quote) from Julia is in purple.

Compare with a physical copy of THE KEY (original edition or later 
editions with the same pagination.)

You can see HPB is taking (quoting) Julia's words from Julia's Path 
July 1889 article.
