Thanks.

Of course, one thing is the copy of a letter from a master,  made by people during the time when the letters were received and from the original. 

It is entirely different to "cook" a letter now from various quotes here and there, and then ascribe the result to any "Mahatma".

The second choice looks like the  Prothagoras/John Algeo style. 

In time: John Algeo lives in Athens (USA), as Prothagoras lived in Athens (Greece).  

Each century has the Prothagoras it deserves.
