Julia and William Q. had access to
various Mahatma letters received BY OTHER PERSONS.
Yesterday I went back through the issues of THE PATH
for March 1889 through April 1891.
Either Julia in her articles or Judge as editor of
THE PATH published during this time period extracts
from various Mahatma Letters in THE PATH.
For example in one of Julia's articles, she
quotes from the letters of KH to Hubbe-Schleiden.
Ample extracts are given in THE PATH on life after
death as given by the Master KH in his letters to
Sinnett.
PLUS the extracts I have already given from what we are
calling the KH Concentration letters.
In ALL the above instances, Julia and William Q.
do NOT reveal which Mahatma wrote the extract nor do they reveal
the name of the receipient.
The vast majority of readers of THE PATH at that time would have had
no easy way to know or identify the authors of these letters or the
recipients.
Only in subsequent years and decades were some of these letters
published with correct identification. For example in THE MAHATMA
LETTERS TO A.P. SINNETT and in LETTERS FROM THE MASTERS OF WISDOM.
MY POINT: Julia and William Q. in 1889-90 had been given COPIES of
the above Mahatma letters. IT would appear that they didn't have
the originals but only had copies. In other words, they didn't
receive the letters themselves but simply had been given copies. At
least we can say that about the Schleiden and Sinnett letters.
Also starting in 1890 the members of HPB's Inner Group were also
supplied with copies of many of the Mahatma letters to Sinnett and
other people. I base this on a statement made by Mrs. Cleather, who
was a member of the Inner Group.
I will also note here that Mrs. Cleather had a document titled:
"From a Paper of Notes made from a Master's Letter."
This document contains many of the KH Concentration extracts.
