No One Killed Adepts

Jake, Friends,

Thanks a lot.

In the "Mahatma Letters" it is said that Adepts can magnetically "disconnect" undesired thoughts about them, coming from people who are not 'lay chelas'.

Of course, even lay chelas' thoughts will not disturb them as they have means to build barriers and 'accept 'thoughts only when is it correct to do so.

Besides, their 'observatories' are often kept running by regular, advanced and trained chelas. This is also documented, or clearly hinted, in Letters.

On top of that, Adepts can, no doubt, change physical bodies as they please, or have a physical body and use it only once in a while. (See for instance Geoffrey Barborka's book on the Masters and their Letters, and "The Mahatma Letters".)

On the other hand, one of the Mahatmas, the one who wrote most Letters, was severely warned by his own Master not to interfere too much with theosophists and with the movement... I saw and marked at least two of such warnings in the HPB/Masters literature available to us.

HPB wrote ( I also have the data) that the suffering of this Master in His human intervals was tremendous ("human intervals" are HPB's words). Such suffering in his 'human intervals' was possibly due to that tremendous decision to sacrifice everything for mankind.

Compassion is no small feeling for one who sees the BULK of human suffering. The "Master of Masters" was most certainly protecting him through such severe warnings.

So, this is a serious matter. And yet I tend to think that the Masters did not "get into serious trouble" because of "us".

So I hope!

Yet, there is no doubt that the state of human karma in the late 19th century did help kill the Old Lady. She was supposed to live up to 1900... but it seems that certain things in London made it not worthwhile any longer.

Then she got her passport HOME.

Good for her, not so good for us.

Best regards, Carlos.
