Dear Rabindra,

An insightful posting, this below, no doubt--  thanks. 

Image-making, "imagination", or image-action, is the inner counterpart of sight, one of the five physical senses.

Occult perception is beyond that.  Because of this, Yoga is defined as "the hindering of modifications of the thinking principle" (Yoga Sutras, I-2).

In other words, Yoga is going beyond the action of image-making. 

Yoga -- "Union" -- occurs in inner silence. 

By going beyond mental movements - our consciousness gets naturally in order and in harmony.  

Then it turns from a "chaos" into a "kosmos".
