Marie and Friends,

There is a great deal to be gain and benefit from by exploring the few books and many articles by W.Q.Judge. For one, his book "The Ocean of Theosophy" is theosophy written for the so called average person and every paragraph is a treasure trove. I gave that book along with the Bhagavad-Gita, and Judges Notes On The Bhagavad-Gita to my sons for when they are ready to explore them. After finding "modern theosophy" if it were not for Judges writings it is questionable if I would have continued to study theosophy.

Even though it's great to have you own books, there are several on-line sources for reading Judge's couple of books and his many articles. One is www.phx-ult-lodge.org and another is www.blavatsky.net which has 277 articles by Judge. Judge as a cofounder with HPB in 1875 was the one person who was forever loyal to HPB and her teachers, and was her adamant defender both as an attorney and as "a man with his hair on fire, and yet walked in calmness" for truth and justice. His writings are more than knowledge, they are inspiring.

A student will find nothing in Judge's writings that I am aware of that are not in line with HPBs.

Happy reading !!!
Gary B.
