Hi Cass,
It can be a fine between being genuinely open to new ideas and perspectives and being a
blind believer.(in whatever that may be)
I think that if we are always ready to review our beliefs as new and more compelling
evidence comes along or indeed the willingness to recognise a fallacy once it has been
exposed.
Often it can be difficult even for scientific researchers who have given much energy, time
and reputation into a particular hypothesis to then accept or even consider that it may in
fact be wrong.
All of us need to be careful that we don't fall into that trap.
A very important reason not to put HPB & her writings or the Mahatma's on too higher
pedestal as we may find more compelling information may come our way.
Blind pride and acceptance in any tradition or belief can make us gullible and/or arrogant
leading to a closed and rigid mindset.
Cheers
Perry

trick, I will see if I can find the posting.
