Leon, thank you for alerting us to this horrifying practice. The  chickens 
are not only raised in a horrible manner, they are killed in a horrible  manner 
as well, but only AFTER they have produced as many eggs as could be  
husbanded, I suspect. 
 
This leaves the prospect of vegetarianism the only solution, abstaining  from 
dairy and eggs as well as all meat. Wonder what would happen to the world  if 
our diet changed to just seeds, nuts, vegetables and fruits?
