It's what we do, how we behave, literally what we think, say, and do in our daily lives, that makes an impact. When I joined the TS, the running joke was "I came to find the Wisdom of the Ancients and all I found were the Ancients." Now, if someone where to come onto these mailing lists looking for something, what they would find would be name calling, hectoring, incessant fighting over people long dead and senseless, senile, superstitious babble about Dugpas mixed with lots of words that are claimed to be Sanskrit but do not exist in that language and never have because HPB made them up! (Chela, for example, seems to be nothing more than a corruption of chandala and no one has ever been able to figure out where fohat came from.) And to make matters worse, the folks doing all this claim to be in a position to actually influence world events! They apparently live with the delusion that anyone is going to care what they approve or disapprove of. It would be laughable if it were not so damnably embarrassing but let us be thankful that those who make up for their lack of sense with megalomania are not in that position because they would most assuredly blow us all up in the name of Brotherhood.
