This is certainly, imho, a subject very worthy to be inquired into 
and I would like to discuss it here on theos-talk with you. Others, 
naturally, may join the discussion if they so wish. My question to 
you is: can we discuss it as students of Theosophy on a long break 
from inter-organisations wars? 

One of the talks I gave to TS members both in Malaysia and Indonesia 
recently was 'Seeking the Origins of Theosophy', and it was based on 
the well-known passage in the 'Summing Up' at the end of volume 1 
of "The Secret Doctrine", which makes reference to "countless 
generations of initiated seers and prophets". Perhaps that could be 
a starting point. 

Naturally, I do not have your arsenal of online sources readily to 
be quoted :) but I do have questions, many questions, about this 
fascinating subject.

The reason why I am suggesting a discussion here on this forum is 
that the bus from Sydney to Houston does not come here very often! :)
