was made popular by Dan Brown's book. But do you know how deeply
this
is connected to Blavatsky and the Theosophical Movement? One of the
founders of the Knights Templar was a cousin to Bernard of
Clairvaux.
But Bernard is the one who sanctioned it and brought it before the
Pope. With his backing it became a powerful force in Europe and
France. One of his greatest, or their greatest contributions is that
of architecture in general, the cathedrals in particular.
What is the connection you ask? I have traced St. Bernard directly
to
the life of William Q. Judge. And we all know that he was of utmost
importance in American Theosophy.
