Theosophy Virtual Lodge: (Skype info) Useful Hints for the Study of H.P. Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine by Jerry Hejka-Ekins

Dear Friends,
Bellow is the information for joining the Theosophy Virtual Lodge meeting by using Skype, which can be done either freely from an internet connected computer or by telephone for a rate fee by calling a designated Skype number and entering the conference room number - see bellow.
I apologize, as I haven't gotten this fully tested yet, but am posting this in the confidence that it will work. I am notifying you as soon as possible so that you can download the free Skype messenger software and join us. Last week I rerouted to a Skypecast, and this week we are using Skype with VAPP High Speed Conferencing instead. Last week it worked; and this week there should be no interruptions in the broadcast.
Due to the fact that we haven't migrated away from Paltalk, the lecture will be re-routed and streamed into the Skype room for those using Skype. This means that if you are using Skype, then you will not have a direct connection to the those in the Paltalk room but to the other members in the Skype room and the room administrator who will be streaming the meeting from Paltalk to Skype.
If you have any questions about attending using Skype or Paltalk, then please email me - Truth C.
Bellow the invitation for the next meeting is the information about how to join the meeting through Skype.
P.s. One of the things I need to test is if the number is always open, so if you and and friend want to see if you can talk to each other through that conference room right now, and then tell me if it worked, then that would help. Thanks.
Truth C.

Useful Hints for the Study of H.P. Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine by
Jerry Hejka-Ekins
Published in 1888, H.P.Blavatsky' s master work, The Secret Doctrine,
remains the most influential work ever written on Eastern and
Western esoteric philosophy. Its influence continues through the
writings of occultists and their schools which have developed since
her time. This presentation will discuss the purpose and importance
of this book; its themes and key ideas; and how to productively
approach its study.
Jerry Hejka-Ekins began his study of the Secret Doctrine in 1964 and
has been leading study groups on this book almost continuously since
1973. He will be drawing from his experiences garnered from working
with these groups. He is president of Alexandria West
(www.alexandriawest .org), a fraternal perennialistic organization
dedicated to promoting the Ancient Wisdom teachings and practices;
editor of The Serapeum and associate editor of Theosophical
History. He is an associate of the United Lodge Theosophists,
Theosophical Society (Adyar) and Theosophical Society (Pasadena).
He is author of numerous theosophical articles and reviews and co-
creator of The Perennial Wisdom, a 72 minute video and guide book on
the Theosophical Movement. He has an MA in English Literature from
California State University.
