M. GOMES and L. PRICE

Friends,

Michael Gomes' position, as a Historian, is clear. He acknowledges HPB's authenticity as a person, as a thinker and as a writer.

As to Leslie Price, in April 1983 he delivered a talk at the Society for Psychic Researches in London, SPR. The talk was entitled "Blavatsky Unveiled?"

Mr. Price said something which Daniel Caldwell and John Algeo could well take some time to think about:

"Any writer or speaker who says the S.P.R. exposed Madame Blavatsky is only exposing his own ignorance." (1)

As to H.P.Blavatsky, for some reason, she was in a somewhat less diplomatic mood than Mr. Price. In the 1880s, she wrote these people have "idiotic heads".

Best regards, Carlos Cardoso Aveline
