PRICE AND CARRITHERS

Jul 06, 2006 11:41 AM
by carlosaveline

Friends,

Walter Carrithers had, as Leslie Price has, respect for the facts.

This is a healthy attitude.

Carrithers and Price helped show the process of persecution against HPB as it was -- full of falsehoods, biased, utterly lacking legitimacy.

I wish the examples set by Carrithers and Price were followed by more "researchers" these days.

Once the false charges against HPB have been showed as they are, only political/financial aims (not scholarly ones) can explain the continuous publicity of the slanders.

Someone should ask J. Algeo about the political part of this "agenda".

Best regards, Carlos Cardoso Aveline
