Daniel,

Thanks for your question below,  which I will candidly take to be sincere and not rhetorical. 

What would be the purpose of maximizing pseudo-information on the outer appearances of Masters'  linga-shariras as they might have been some 120 years ago? 

Is this Theosophy --  or it is,  rather,  a Tabloid Approach about 
outer personalities, images or appearances? 

If you look at theosophical books, you will see that this personality-centered search  is NOT a part of Theosophy. 

The Masters clearly wrote they work in silence and anonymously. Remember?  The 1900 letter.    

But WHAT are the Masters? 

They are NOT the personal names or Mayavi-rupas they use, or which they used 120, 130 years ago.  This is something  you and Paul Johnson have not understood yet! Think about that.  

Masters as such exist basically in Buddhi- Manas. 

You cannot reach Them, at all, by names, as you cannot reach the Esoteric Teachings by words -- any words! Words are useful as vehicles, they only point to the inner truth, and perceiving the truth depends more on one's availability to it than to the mere words.   

Earnest students can reach and interact with the living "currents"  kept in movement in the higher manasic world by Adepts and their regular and advanced Chelas. 

The way to do that is by serving mankind;  by being as truthful as one can; and by accepting the silent perception in one's consciousness of the ONE LIFE,  present in  Unity and Diversity, in Harmony and in Contrast, in Tamas, Rajas and Satwa.    

But, Daniel, that which Ms. Radha Burnier once called "keyhole curiosity" will not be useful for any inner progress  whatsoever.
