Theravada Not Bad

Friends,

The word "Theravada" cannot be seen as a synonym to dead letter.

It is not that easy to despise an important section of the Buddhist movement.

For instance, Olcott was encouraged to work with Ceylonese (Sri Lankan) Buddhists (Theravada) during the best years of the theosophical movement in India.

Any automatic classification of movements or individuals as something to be promply discarded or "not taken into consideration" is far from being a helpful attitude in the search for truth.

Regards, Carlos Cardoso Aveline
