THE DA VINCI CODE

Friends,
My wife and I went to the movies to see "The Da Vinci Code" yesterday afternoon. The film seemed to be below the expectations. But that is natural since expectations were way too high.
Still, the movie stimulates a reflection on secret societies which use intense physical and psychological violence. It metaphorically shows their centuries-old persecution of secret societies which preserve the teaching of brotherhood, with as much non-violence as possible.
The film denounces Vatican's nazi-fascist and jesuitic connections -- still very much alive and influential, even in "esoteric" movements.
It is a modern folk tale, most useful to stimulate debate.
As HPB wrote, Jesuits (as Nazism) lose power when "discovered". Opus Dei now is under the spotlight.
Regards, Carlos.
