Hi Morten,
My feelings are that Theos-Talk has been hijacked by the incessant
challenges of the past. What, if anything, is anyone going to learn about Theosophy
from these postings? Is it not possible that those interested in continuing
this argument correspond privately with each other?
I personally would like to hear your views on Channelling. Whether in
theosophical terms this is explainable phenomena as we were told that the only
communication we have with the dead is through their shells. However, in these
times, there seems to be more and more evidence that channelling is a
phenomena that exists. How does one know the accuracy or authenticity of a
channelled being?

Dear Cass and Friends.
This has long been a question I have been asking as well. My first
introduction to channeled material was the book "Seth Speaks" and "The Nature of
Personal Reality" by Jane Roberts. I read these books in the mid 1970's and they
served as the springboard to eventually discovering theosophy in the late
1980s.
Is it really necessary to know the accuracy or authenticity of these types
of phenomena? If, as in my case, it leads to further reading and questioning,
isn't that enough? I have no idea whether channeling is or is not authentic. I
have visited a number of so called "channelers" during my quest...I came
away laughing. But that did not stop me from trying to find out the truth of our
existence....so authenticity can be irrelevant it seems.
