Dear Friends,
The Vatican payed 150 rupees to the Coulombs, in three instalments, for the forgering and publishing of HPB's letters.  
The fact is documented in the 2005 book by Michael Gomes on "The Coulomb Case".  
The first instalment was 25, the second 50, and the third one 75 rupees.
Previously, the Coulombs had to be expeleed from Adyar for stealing money.  This is Daniel's "historical source". 
But -- at least,  the Coulombs were professional.
Others, smart as they seem to be,  do not have -- I think -- that "priviledge".
