The Mantra of Slanders

Apr 28, 2006 06:13 PM

Friends and Bruce,

I basically agree with Bruce (see below).

Theosophy is a form of Science, and keeping false accusations alive is lilke keeping alive the idea that the Earth is flat and is t he center of the Universe.

We now know that the Earth is basically round, and also that the slanders against HPB were slanders. The Coulombs wanted money and got it, not from the Theosophists, but from Christian Missionaries. Soloviof wanted notoriety and got it. No need for us to stick to the same lies for centuries in and centuries out.

By allowing those lies to be repeated WITHIN the movement (and perhaps Freud will explain WHY the movement leadership allowed that to happen) we came to the point of that recent letter by Katinka Hesserlink, in FOHAT, saying "HPB may have faked a few phenomena". Says who? Says Soloviof, and Katinka ust repeats the slander as an automaton.

That is probably why the Old Lady called "idiots" those who slandered her.

Mental laziness IS a problem. As also blind obedience is.

Best regards, Carlos.
