H.P. Blavatsky's Life and Work:
23 Biographies, Histories, and Special Studies

Athough the Cranston biography of H.P. Blavatsky
is a valuable work and is a virtual sourcebook
on Blavatsky's life, work and influence, there
are many other valuable biographical works which
serious students of Theosophy and Blavatsky will
want in their personal libraries.

See the list of 23 titles at:

http://www.blavatskyarchives.com/blavatskybios2.htm

It should be noted that especially two of the books given
in this list, that is:

(1) Madame Blavatsky: The Woman Behind the Myth
by Marion Meade

and

(2) Mysterious Madame: Helena Petrovna Blavatsky
by C.E. Bechofer-Roberts

present Mme. Blavatsky in a negative light as a fraud
and charlatan. Nevertheless, these books especially
the Marion Meade biography contain important information
and insights that serious students should be aware of.
