We may be aware of ancient Mayan practices, but how do we know that 
we aren't merely projecting the ideologies of such practices onto 
these skulls?  It is theorized by scientists that these skulls were 
shaped through ancient Mayan practices, but it hasn't actually been 
proved by them to be the case.  It's just a good guess, is it not?
