There is an essential difference which provides for having children. 

As children are essential for humanity's survival, so the Difference
in Unity which characterizes the Founding Human relationship, between
man and woman,  is of the essence. 

Unity in Diversity and Diversity in Unity are also present in Politics, in the Solar System in the Galaxy, in every ecosystem, etc. The liver and the kidneys work in unity and in diversity between them and with the heart. The blood helps with that, and the air transported by the blood.  Everything interacts.
