Iran-USA: Hatred is Useless

ISLAM-CHRISTIANISM: KEEPING AWAY  FROM HATRED=20
=20=20
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Dear Friends,

Sufilight's text, see below, shows us important facts.

On the other hand, Iran's President, Mahmud Ahmadinejad, denies Nazi's
mass murder of Jews, insinuates Israel must be "erradicated", wants full Ur=
anium-enrichment with no U.N. control, and organizes an Army of Suicide-Bom=
bers.=20=20=20

I will re-post a previous text of mine which discusses an analysis made by =
HPB on how both Christians and Moslems "mystics of hate-and-fear" use each=
 other in order to produce more hatred -- and they do that in an "esoteric"=
 way...=20=20=20

( I will have to bring it from home.)=20

As theosophists, we should be able (ideally) to recognize that both the Jew=
ish people and the Arab/Muslim people, being brothers -- as their religion=
s are sisters -- have equal rights to live in peace -- and preferably in d=
emocracy.=20

Yet many a Muslim nowadays believe that "non-believers", that is, non-mosle=
ms, deserve to die.=20

Last week-end, several Christian churches were attacked in Egypt, so far a =
moderate country. Something is wrong with this kind of Islamism.=20

Universal brotherhood is a fact and a law, not a romantic dream --- and =
it is about time for people to stop killing each other just because mental=
 laziness prevent them from thinking a little bit.=20

This kind of religious fanaticism was duly criticized by HPB and the Master=
s, but Besant and Leadbeater betrayed the CAUSE when they abandoned true Th=
eosophy.=20

There is an urgent need for an understanding of the religious issue in our =
civilization. This could and should be tackled in the Internet, instead o=
f vulgarizing "esoteric papers".=20

Mental laziness is the mother and father of fanaticism (Christian and Islam=
ic, among many others).=20

Best regards,  Carlos Cardoso Aveline.=20

> "In both the 2000 and 2004 Presidential elections, voter mobilization eff=
orts of conservative Christians tended to be focused internally within the =
machinery of the Republican Party, as opposed to lobby groups and voter mob=
ilization organizations such as the Christian Coalition. In a related examp=
le of this more "in-house" approach to mobilizing votes from the conservati=
ve Christian community, Ralph Reed served as Southeast Regional chairman fo=
r the Bush-Cheney campaign during the 2004 Presidential election.
> In the 2000 Presidential elections, the organization distributed over 70 =
million voter guides in churches all across America, including over 5 milli=
on in Spanish, (apprx. 2 million of which were distributed in Florida alone=
). In 2004, the group distributed approx. 30 million voter guides, but this=
 time in targeted states and congressional districts, choosing instread to =
focus its efforts on areas that were more politically competitive.
>=20
> After Pat Robertson stepped down as the group's president in 2000, Robert=
a Combs took over the Coalition. Members of her family are now high-ranking=
 officials in the group, so it's safe to say that Combs has inherited the C=
oalition from Robertson."

urs Today," "Courting Disaster," "The Ten Offenses," "Bring It On," "Six St=
eps To Revival," "The Turning Tide," "The New Millennium," "The New World O=
rder," "Shout It From The Housetops," and his first fiction, "The End of th=
e Age." "The Secret Kingdom" was number three on Time magazine's national n=
on-fiction list. "The New World Order" was number four on the New York Time=
s' non-fiction list of America's best selling books. "The Secret Kingdom," =
"Answers to 100 of Life's Most Probing Questions," and "The New World Order=
" were each in their respective year of publication the number one religiou=
s book in America."
