Interesting link.  Personally, I've had no less than a thousand 
direct supernatural experiences, wherein I've encountered ghost 
beings, as perceptible to my metaphysical eyes and/or ears (and 
sometimes touch).  Because of these experiences of mine, I can often 
tell whether a person is bluffing about their supernatural claims or 
not.  Although, I have not read the books in question.
