There is no point in giving your six-month old son a subscription of
"Scientific American", just because you love him.
On the contrary, that is the perfect gift, only you have to be the one
reading it to him. He may not understand the meanings of the words at the time,
but they will be imprinted on his subconscious and he will start with a sense
of curiosity about the world and a desire to assuage that curiosity.
