Chuck, Beyond Disappointment

Chuck,

There is an irony, indeed, in my words, as I say you are "too deep" in recent postings. Or "too optimistic".

But I am aware that words are mantras, in part, so this also expresses my sincere wish.

(I hope such an irony does not offend you -- as this is not the intention.)

I guess the frustration and aggressiveness of many today is the result of being exposed to false Theosophy for decades. We have to deal with it.

If people do not believe in the Sacred Wisdom, or in the secret side of certain insights, or in the need for secrecy with regard to some matters, it is just natural that they despise everything which they do not know.

This is why the theosophical movement must improve. In order not to lead people into blind belief or to its equally bad opposite -- blind denial, blind skepticism.

Between these two extremes, truth has scarce chances.

Skepticals, though, have to have a lot of blind faith to deny everything spiritual and theosophical based on "an intrinsic confidence" that "everything divine is false".

Common sense says that it is much better to investigate things with an open mind (and a heart, too).

Regards, Carlos.

Very much indeed.

Your sarcasm isn't working.

But if you think about it, what would be so important about the workings of
the Sun (and remember that when HPB was writing they still knew very little
about it for real) that would get some mystic power that upset if it was
revealed. After all, it is not like anyone could do anything with that knowledge!

The idea behind that is simply too absurd to be viewed as anything but one
of HPB's jokes.
