Friends, Cass,

Our central and common point is that true  insanity is in the authoritarian 
use of religion and creed  as a mechanism for domination of human minds.

It is unfortunate that in the 1890s the Adyar TS abandoned its task of 
showing the world the danger of dogmatic religions.

The movement will have to get back to this task, I guess, and to get back to 
the deeper Philosophy of Theosophy, so that it can, in the next few years 
and decades, face in a proper way the paralysing challenges it has in front 
of it right now.

In order to be, or to seem,  politically correct, the movement in general 
got rather paralysed.

Some departed from the teaching through fancies of various kinds.   Others 
put the teaching in the freezer aiming at to preserving  it.  A third group 
tries to live the teaching.

These three "groups" are not in "different corporations".  Each one of us 
has these three factors in himself and can enhance the third factor in his 
own consciousness.
