Dear Perry,

Yes, I remember this.  The account was originally published in the 
Theosophist, around 1908, I think, under a title something like "The 
Masters have Returned to Adyar."   Marie Russak, as it turns out, was 
the source of the story.   Of course, Besant found it within her 
interest to publish.
