critical tools for thinking

Hello All,
Perhaps an idea would be for people to point out actual instances where
they feel that inappropriate intellectual debate has been engaged in
and then point out why they believe it to be inappropriate.

If we stick to propositions and premises rather than attacking
personalities I don't see why there should be any problem.
Debate by its very nature involves argument, I don't see any way around
this if we are to follow some sort of rigorous process.

If people are saying that being a theosophist means not using critical
tools for thinking then I can't say I would like to promote and be
apart of this type of mindset.

Regards

Perry
