      I think that any single word in general will tend to miss the meaning HPB intended, while useing the term "globe". If you get my drift, I think she was given a term implying a spherical local, which is meant to imply about 10 thousand words of explaination about an inner state of being that bears no relationship to materiality as we know it, yet co-exists at a more fundemental plane of our being than this personal ego. Yet we are probably subtly aware of our own egoity residing in alternate perpsepctives upon occassion and from which we view the "I" we experience on a daily basis. 
      So, perhaps, after mulling over the term for a moment or 40 years, one will have a flash of intuition, which we will probably never really be able to explain to anyone else in less than an hour. At least were all in the same boat. At least that's how this term "globe" has impressed me.

At the HPB´s time, the word " race " and "globes" were used due to the lack 
of another better term for that century.
What do you think?
