Zaitzev,
Your reiteration of another letter in 1886 does not remove the sense of the previous one quoted by Carlos, it merely adds more depth to it. If you are looking to contest HPB's openly stated understanding of the state of things, it will always be possible to find seeming evidence of an opposite point of view. The facts however remain, that the present issues for us today are still what they were then. How can this be other than a clear presentation of the Philosophy even in the midst of dispute. That was her work, and it should be ours.

Your quotations are (as always) very selective.
The letter you have quoted is of 1885, and this is what she
wrote at the end of 1886.
... President-Founder is alone to work and toil with a few
devoted theosophists at Adyar to assist him.
...
For, if theosophy is anywhere practised on this globe, it is
at Adyar, at the Head-Quarters.
...
At Adyar alone, at the Head-Quarters of the Theosophical Society, the
Theosophists are that which they ought to be everywhere else: true
theosophists and not merely philosophers and Sophists. In that
centre alone are now grouped together the few solitary, practically
working
Members, who labor and toil, quietly and uninterruptedly, while those
Brothers for whose sake they are working, sit in the dolce far niente
of the West and criticise them.
