Make whatever jokes please you. If they are funny, I will laugh.
What I find interesting is that when someone does something you don't
like, your knee-jerk response is to do or threaten to do the very same
thing back to them. Meditate on that, my friend.

Dear Bill,
That's the problem with Paul Johnson"s view about the Masters.
But the Adepts themselves commented this lack of respect in their Letters.
This is not the end of the world.
Please tell me what you consider sacred so that I can make jokes with it,
too.
Best regards, Carlos.

One might read the Master's letters and wonder if they were ever young
men such those portrayed below.
------
Sophia had two young Masters who were excessively mischievous. They
were always getting into trouble and Sophia knew that, if any mischief
occurred in the Theosophical Society, K.H. and Morya were probably
involved.
Sophia heard that a local priest of the LCC had been successful in
disciplining masters, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The
Bishop Leadbeater agreed, but asked to see them individually. Sophia
sent Morya in first, with K.H. scheduled to see the clergyman in the
afternoon.
The Bishop, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the young Morya down
and asked him sternly, "Where is God?"
Morya's mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting there with
his mouth hanging open, wide-eyed. So the clergyman repeated the
question in an even sterner tone, "Where is God!!?" Again the young
Morya made no attempt to answer. So the clergyman raised his voice even
more and shook his finger in the young Master's face and bellowed,
"WHERE IS GOD!?"
Morya screamed and bolted from the room, ran directly home and dove into
his closet, slamming the door behind him. When his brother Koot Hoomi
found him in the closet, he asked, "What happened?"
The young Morya, still gasping for breath, replied, "Brother, we are in
BIG trouble this time. God is missing - and they think WE did it!"

Dear Sufilight,
If you make jokes with the names of the Masters,
I might make jokes with the Prophet,
yet I somewaht prefer keeping jokes away
from Masters names and from the Prophet's name.
Deal?
Carlos.
