Wasn't theos-l the same?
But it was somewhat more friendly.

It is exactly what we have in this list.

As for moderator, he is probably needed, to eliminate spamming, at 
least.
The moderator which imposes his views is a bad moderator, and I know 
instances of good moderators, it's quite possible.

There should be no bosses but probably there should be some rules.
It would be a good principle for TS also.
