How do we know that?     What if science's basic premise that that all 
phenomena stems from metric matter, is wrong?   What if string theory (and 
theosophy) is right and there are hidden dimensions of energy-matter or different 
aspects of primal substance existing in multiple dimensions of primal space, and 
that "our space-time" is simply one aspect of that space that can be sensed or 
measured only with instruments that are part of that space
