Every Challenge is an Opportunity

Adelasie, Bruce, Friends,

I want to say that I agree.

I would add that perhaps we should be fundamentally constructive in our action,
though capable of seing the mistakes, mainly our own, secondarily the mistakes of others.

As to what keeps the various theosophical groups separate, that is a fundamental question with no easy answer.

Perhaps a list of practical steps people could take right now would include:

a) to improve whatever mutual help mechanisms there are;

b) to try to honestly examine differences in views in a basiclly respectful way, though with frankness -- and to remember no one is the sole owner of Truth. In fact, no one owns Truth, not even partially, we can only belong to It unconditionally.

Carlos.

Hi Bruce,

You bring up interesting questions, particularly in light of the
foundation of Theosophy, the Unity of all Life.

Like everything else there is, this is probably just a matter of
consciousness. We can choose to see and propagate separation, or we
can choose to see and propagate unity. One way is the way of Light,
the other leads to darkness. It is ever the crux of any decision in
life. Which do we choose? Life or death? Theosophy is pretty clear on
which is which.
