HPB said herself in The Secret Doctrine that she would expand on certain ideas in the 3rd edition of the Secret Doctrine which she mentions was almost complete. So I don't see what the controversy is all about. Knowledge is for all, and was not published for an elite group of esoterics at that particular point in time. To keep key esoteric ideas to a secret group is at best masonic and at worst cultist.
