This is a good question. Blavatsky did not have high opinion about
herself and her writing. She did not want her writing to become cause
of cult or sect. She expressly wrote against dogma and denied any
absolute authority. So her intention was right. But problem is she
wrote in such style that whoever reads it, studies it becomes dogmatic,
fundamentalist even fanatic. Her intentions were good but unfortunately
she could not write in proper manner which would have avoided dogma,
sect. Her students automatically become so. Neither Blavatsky not
students want to become dogmatic but that happens automatically when
one studies writing of Blavatsky. And later it becomes very difficult
for students to realize that they have become dogmatic and even if they
realize, they can't change their minds easily. Mental machinery gets so
damaged that person can't get out of dogma easily.
