"Ad hominem" attacks: The FOHAT article

Dear Jerome,

To answer your comment, I don't really care what the "Jerome
personality" thinks of the "Daniel personality", but I was
simply asking for a clarification of what you had written
about my supposed actions and alleged motivations in the
FOHAT article and wondering if you were classing me with
Mrs. Besant and Mr. Chakravarti or putting me in a NEW category
with "conscious" and "evil intentions".
<http://blavatskyarchives.com/wheelerpseudo.htm>

Mr. Judge's words I referred to seemed relevant to what you were
writing. <http://blavatskyarchives.com/blackmagicians.htm>

I find your comments very similar to many I have received
over the years from many students of Leadbeater's, Besant's,
Bailey's, Prophet's "Theosophical" teachings. Some of your
arguments are simply echoes of the arguments given by these students.

In asking HARD QUESTIONS to some of these various followers
and students they invariably DISTRACT from the general issues and
questions and try to turn the tables by going AD HOMINEM
questioning my motivations, etc.

In college, I remember when I questioned certain statements
and beliefs about Christianity by some of my classmates some
accused me of being a disbeliever and atheist and/or that I
was being influenced by Satan and his demons.

When I published Margart Thomas' compilation about Mr.
Leadbeater and Mrs. Besant on my website, I was
accused by several CWL/AB students of being a "tool"
of the dugpas.

When I published Nicholas Week's article about Alice Bailey,
I was told similar things by some of Bailey's students.

I also found Paul Johnson frequently using this same AD HOMINEM
tactic instead of dealing solely with my criticisms of his thesis
about the Mahatmas as given in my HOUSE OF CARDS pamphlet which
can be found online at:

http://blavatskyarchives.com/johnson.htm

Paul Johnson used an "ad hominem" tactic against me
to explain why I was questioning and correcting some
of his statements in his books. He thought I was a
Theosophical "fundamentalist", a "heresy hunter" doing
the bidding of the theosophical organizations, etc.

So now when you say I am actually a detractor of HPB and
I am poisoning real Theosophy (I have no idea what you mean by
that!!), etc. etc.,  I do not really understand your
reasoning and how you got to those conclusions but I am NOT
surprised....

Daniel
